Vidya Balan’s throwback pic with Mohanlal is winning the internet. Seen it yet?


Actress Vidya Balan, on Tuesday (September 15) night, shared an old picture of herself with superstar Mohanlal clicked during the shoot of her first Malayalam film. Vidya also revealed that the film got shelved after the first schedule due to unknown reasons.

The Shakuntala Devi star took to Instagram stories to share the picture and said that she was not looking bad then as she thought she was. Vidya is seen in a red outfit while Mohanlal looks great sporting a moustache.

Vidya wrote, “TBT 2000… The pic taken on the sets of my 1st Malayalam film Chakram with @Mohanlal! The film got shelved after the 1st schedule .. Not looking as bad as I imagined i did (sic).”

Vidya Balan made her debut in films with a Bengali film titled Bhalo Theko. Directed by Goutam Halder, the film released in 2003. In 2005, she signed a Bollywood film titled Parineeta, the adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Bengali novel of the same name.

Vidya Balan was last seen in a film titled Shakuntala Devi. The film was premiered on Amazon Prime Video and received good response from the audience as well as critics. She is currently waiting to shoot for her upcoming film, Sherni. The film was supposed to go on floors early this year. However, it got postponed due to the novel coronavirus.
